How we do it…

Glass Block installations vary by location and the job application. The South Texas Glass Block full array of glass block products enable us to best meet your needs with a system specific to your application. In addition to our mortar applications, we highly recommend the BLOKUP mortar less system. Our BLOKUP Windows are available in an aluminum or vinyl perimeter frame. This mortar-less system accommodates real glass block in sizes from 4” up to 12” with endless possibilities. The rigid interlocking spacers, placed horizontally and vertically between each block, lock into place.

The interior and exterior joints are then sealed with a preferred white silicone sealant, however other silicone sealant colors are available. This particular system works well in both new construction and remodel applications because of its versatility factor. We can even prefabricate a window to your specifications, so that you or your contractor can install.
